REVIEW: Preloved by Shirley Marr
It’s been a while since I last posted, sorry about that… Hope you all are doing alright in quarantine and you and your family members are safe. I read this book a few months ago but I’ve been really busy and haven’t had the time to write a review. But here we are now! This review won’t be long but I hope you enjoy anyway! ?
If you had a second chance at love, would you do it all over again?
Amy has enough to deal with for one lifetime. A superstitious Chinese mother. A best friend whose mood changes as dramatically as her hair colour. A reputation for being strange. The last thing she needs is to be haunted by someone only she can see.
Logan is a ghost from the Eighties. He could be dangerous. He’s certainly annoying.
He might also be Amy’s dream boy.
★★★★☆ 4/5 Stars
At first I wasn’t to sure about this book. To be honest, I thought it was going to be super boring! But when I started reading it I couldn’t stop!
This book is about a young girl named Amy Lee who is in love with the 80’s. On costume day at school she finds a locket in a fountain after falling in with her best friend Rebecca. Soon she finds out this locket was meant for Rebecca and contains a ghost called Logan from the 1980’s. During this book Amy is trying to figure out why she is the only person who can see Logan. She is also crushing on the ghost who loves her best friend.
Something I loved about the book was Amy’s mother. I loved all her tips on how to avoid ghosts. I also loved the relationship Amy has with her mother.
Thanks for reading. I know this review wasn’t that long but I didn’t really know what to write.
