REVIEW: Whisper by Lynette Noni
Hello everyone! I just finished reading “Whisper” by Lynette Noni. I loved this book so much and I can’t wait to read the second one! Have you read this book? If so what did you think of it? What books would you like me to read next? Anyway your probably here for the review so here you go:
“Lengard is a secret government facility for extraordinary people,” they told me.
I believed them. That was my mistake.
There isn’t anyone else in the world like me.
I’m different. I’m an anomaly. I’m a monster.
For two years, six months, fourteen days, eleven hours and sixteen minutes, Subject Six-Eight-Four — ‘Jane Doe’ — has been locked away and experimented on, without uttering a single word.
As Jane’s resolve begins to crack under the influence of her new — and unexpectedly kind — evaluator, she uncovers the truth about Lengard’s mysterious ‘program’, discovering that her own secret is at the heart of a sinister plot … and one wrong move, one wrong word, could change the world.
Wow! Where do I start?
Subject Six – Eight – Four (Jane Doe a girl with monstrous capabilities) has been at Lengard for two years, six months, fourteen days, eleven hours and sixteen minutes locked away from the world.
Well “Jane Doe” isn’t her real name. Jane refuses to talk and tell anyone her name. If she speaks who knows what will happen.
For all these years Jane has survived at Lengard even with Vanik torturing her. Why is Jane there? How long will she have to stay there until she can go back to the real world?
Jane believes that the only way to survive and not hurt anyone is to stay silent and not trusting anyone at Lengard. Director Maverick Falon informs her that if she doesn’t cooperate, she will be eliminated from the program, and given the program is top secret, she knows she will be killed.
She is transferred into the care of Landon Ward. Jane starts to consider the possibility that not everyone at Lengard is as bad as she thinks they are. But the more she learns about Lengard, the closer she comes to learning their secrets. Secrets that could destroy the world if she doesn’t speak out, but if she does speak, she might destroy the world anyway.
On Janes journey she discovers many secrets about Lengard and who her true friends are at both Lengard and in the real world!
I highly recommend this book. I loved it so much and I think you will too! 10/10!
When I first heard about this book I knew I had to read it! I’m so glad I did!
